Coverage Terms

Last updated: March 4, 2026

IPO Genie coverage programs are policy-based risk tools for eligible events. They are not bank deposits, principal guarantees, or universal loss protection.

Coverage Model

  • Coverage may use community-funded pools and/or third-party providers where documented.
  • Participation in coverage requires meeting active eligibility and compliance criteria.
  • Coverage limits, premiums, and payout logic depend on the active policy for each opportunity.

Typical Covered Events

  • Verified fraud or rug-pull incidents.
  • Team abandonment supported by objective evidence.
  • Undisclosed material security incidents under defined policy conditions.
  • Failure to meet predefined milestones where policy criteria are satisfied.

Exclusions

  • General market volatility, broad price declines, or macro events.
  • Regulatory or legal changes not tied to covered trigger definitions.
  • User operational errors (for example, incorrect wallet address transfers).
  • Any scenario outside explicit policy trigger conditions.

Claims & Review

  • Claims must be submitted with required evidence within the policy timeframe.
  • Claims are reviewed against published criteria and available data sources.
  • Determinations may include partial, full, or denied outcomes based on policy rules.
